Midsommar depicts a visit to a friend that moved back to Sweden, the country he grew up in, during the Midsommar festivities. On this day the summer solstice is celebrated. A time of year when the sun barely sets in Sweden. This allows for unique moments, such as swimming in a lake at 4 o clock at night while it's still light out. The unique celebration, social settings and Swedish scenery combine to make for a personal book of adventures.
